Never Miss a Registered Tournament Again with Auto Tourney Search

If you are a high-volume multi-table sit and go player on PokerStars, then you know there are times that you register for 20 or so sit and gos, only to find out that one or more tables never automatically opened when the tournament started.  With the games being as tough as they are nowadays, losing a buy-in every session or two can really add up.  It is not practical to run a “Registered in Tournaments” search manually on PokerStars to see if you have all of your tables open.  Thanks to a nice AutoHotKey (AHK) program we’ve dubbed Auto Tourney Search, you can rest assured that you’ll never miss a registered tournament again.

By simply pressing “Ctrl-Alt-T”, the script will run a "Registered in Tournaments" search on PokerStars. If the search produces a list of tables that contains the "Running" status, the script will cross-check it against tables that are open to make sure that a matching Tournament ID is loaded.  If the search finds a table in the “Running” list that is not open, you will receive a message box.  You can either click “Yes” to immediately open the missing table(s) or wait three seconds for the script to automatically launch them for you.  That’s it!

Here is how you get started using this script.  

1) Get a copy of Auto Tourney Search
2) Copy and paste the script into a new .ahk file
3) To launch the program, double click the icon that you just created and it will minimize to the System Tray.  You will then need to double click the icon in order to restore the script.
 
The script officially remains nameless by its author, but it is a tool that can save you a few buy-ins over long sessions.  Tables do not open from time to time for numerous reasons.  Sometimes it can be a software client issue, but more often than not, it is the player closing the lobby too fast after they register.  If you are interested in ensuring that you aren't sitting out of tournaments after they start, run this script in the background.  You will not notice a performance lag on your machine.  It’s free and you have nothing to lose!
