AutoRebuyAbsolute: AHK Script for CEREUS Network

For quite some time now, players have been asking for AutoHotKey (AHK) scripts for UB.com and Absolute Poker, but there just aren’t that many available.  Most of the scripts support the larger sites such as PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker.  The lack of scripts for some of the smaller networks is mostly due to the fact that developers like to cater to the masses, so it makes more business sense to support the larger sites first.  The CEREUS Network, however, is growing by the day and we now have a few scripts surfacing that are really solid.  In recent weeks, a brand new AHK script was developed to make our lives a bit easier while at the CEREUS tables.

AutoRebuyAbsolute is a free, open source AHK script that does exactly what its name implies: it automatically rebuys for you at cash game tables.  Although the name of the program references Absolute Poker, the program works on UB.com as well.  Using the script is very easy.  You simply point to the table you wish to rebuy on and press a hotkey.  You also have the option to set the script up to automate the process, which will automatically reload your stack to 100 big blinds when you bust on a table.  You can also change the default reload amount from 100 big blinds to whatever you would like.  Let’s take a look at how to get started using the program:

1) Get a copy of AutoRebuyAbsolute
2) Copy and paste it into a new .ahk file
3) Name the file AutoRebuyAbsolute
4) Edit the settings that you wish to change and then save and close the script

Editing the script is very easy and takes just a few seconds to do.  You can edit the script by right clicking the AutoRebuyAbsolute AHK icon and selecting “Edit Script” or you can perform your edits when you set up the script for the first time.  There are four areas that you have the option to edit.  The first setting is for your preferred reload amount.  By default, the script reloads your stack to 100 big blinds, but you can change this amount to whatever you prefer.

The second setting is the preferred view that you use while playing.  For example, if you use the "Top" table view on Ub.com, change the view variable from "Classic" to "Top.”  This will allow the script to function properly depending on the table view you use.  The third setting is for determining how the script handles your rebuys.  By default, you will point to the table, press the F1 key, and your table will reload to your preferred buy-in amount.  If you want the script to rebuy for you automatically without having to press F1, change the auto buy-in setting to “1” from “0.”

The last setting allows you to turn on logging so that if you have any issues with the program, the developer will be able to tell what is going on and fix your problem much faster.  You should only turn on logging if you experience problems, as you could have some performances issues while writing the log file:



AutoRebuyAbsolute is a great addition to the AHK community and it’s nice to see some solid CEREUS Network scripts surfacing.  The script is one of the only ones around and helps us out with a tedious task at the tables.  For multi-tablers, this script is especially useful.  Check out the script for yourself today.  After all, it’s an open source program, so it won’t cost you a penny.
