Advanced Poker Training Conducts Thorough User Survey

There are tons of poker training sites out there that allow you to watch videos and learn from the pros.  While this might be an excellent way to learn poker by watching, Advanced Poker Training provides a unique way to improve your game by participating in hands-on drills and receiving feedback on what you are doing correctly and what you should be improving.

A further breakout of the group showed that 90% of the participants were male and 95% had at least some college education.  The group consisted primarily of Hold’em players, with 76% playing No Limit Hold’em and another 18% playing primarily Limit Hold’em.

Surprisingly, the age breakout was relatively spread out, with the most popular age group being 35-54 years old.  Many people feel poker is a young person’s game, but this study shows that at any age you can learn to improve your game.

71.5% of the people participating in the study were full ring players, with most of everyone else being a 5-6 max player.  46.5% of the study's participants played primarily cash games, 43.5% played tournaments, and 10% played sit and gos.  The average buy-ins for players was spread out, with the most popular being $100-$200 at 38.5% of the study group.

The study proved that most members gain something out of Advanced Poker Training.  Like anything else, a lot depends on how open-minded you are and how much time you are putting into it.  82% of the group agreed that Advanced Poker Training made them a better player.  83% of the group answered that they enjoyed using Advanced Poker Training.  80% of the group answered that Advanced Poker Training is worth their money.

Participants in this study were not paid, and therefore it is believed that their answers are truthful.  Typically, when someone is paid to participate in a study, they are more likely to give answers that the sponsoring party wants to hear.  Since in this case everyone participating was purely a volunteer giving feedback, there was no incentive to give favorable responses to Advanced Poker Training.
