Holdem Manager 2, HM Cloud Imports Now Synced Automatically

If you don't already know, Holdem Manager 2 is a leading poker analysis, tracking, and HUD program that constantly rolls out new and innovative features.  Recently, Holdem Manager 2 was upgraded to Build 8100, which included an import new feature and corrected issues that have come up.
 
The biggest update affects anyone using HM Cloud and Holdem Manager 2.  If you are one of many poker players using both programs, depending on different circumstances, your hands played on Holdem Manager 2 will now be synced and automatically import into HM Cloud next time you start the software and vice-versa.
 
If you are not familiar with HM Cloud, it is a relatively new product that requires no local database and no local backups since all of your data is held in an internet cloud.  HM Cloud also calculates stats and executes filter queries away from your computer, allowing you to use valuable processing power for other purposes.
 
Previously, players using HM2 and HM Cloud could import hands from one to the other through a manual process.  This is a far-from-perfect situation, so you should be able to see why this new feature is so important to many HM users.
 
The other new feature in HM's latest release allows you to close news, announcements, and featured app widgets by clicking an "x" in the upper right corner of the widget.  Although purely cosmetic, this allows you to have a better and more controlled experience when first loading up the software or visiting the "Home" tab.
 
Although the widget that was blocked will disappear in most, if not all cases, it will not go away forever.  Any time there is new content to a widget you previous hid, it comes back, allowing you to never miss anything new you might be interested in.  If the widget isn't presenting anything of value to you, you can "x" it once again until there is something new.
 
I love anything that makes my life easier and the new widget feature does just that by allowing me to stay on top of everything without seeing the same old thing every day when it is just the status quo.
 
Build 8100 did not only have these two new features, but also addressed a few software issues.  The latest release corrected a Flop Set stat issue with Omaha hands, corrected bet size filters for Facing Raise and Made Raise, and corrected an issue with the Positional 3bet vs Hero stat.
 
The update also fixed an issue where customers using Leak Buster in coordination with Holdem Manager were having with certain reports freezing after running the latest Leak Buster Beta update.
