Poker Sleuth is a hand history tracking program that employs a suite of utilities to help your efforts in becoming a better poker player. Some of the utilities include a equity hand range finder, the ability to quickly note important hands, and a way to review your hand histories individually. There are also new features coming soon such as detailed opponent stats, graphs, and the ability to view stats on a table. Poker Sleuth current supports Limit, Pot Limit, and No Limit Hold’em games at Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars, UB.com, Absolute Poker, 888, PartyPoker, the Ongame Network, PKR, and the iPoker Network. The best part is that Poker Sleuth is now available for the PC.
Poker Sleuth’s features include:
· Integrated equity calculator that is faster than PokerStove and supports weighted ranges
· One click to load hands into the equity calculator during review
· Tracks the number of hands for each stat and automatically computes a credible interval
· Background parsing so you don't have to wait for a gigantic import before using the software
· Program your own stats
· Built-in hand converter for posting on forums
· Small footprint; doesn't require the PostgreSQL database to work
· Set up different layouts for different situations and switch between them
Poker Sleuth is a much smaller program in terms of its requirements for installation and operation. Other programs that offer a full suite of stats and utilities such as PokerTracker and Holdem Manager require large installations and use of the PostgreSQL database system. Poker Sleuth is a smaller, more compact program that operates within a smaller framework, which is ideal for people using older computers.
Poker Sleuth has a free trial available. If you like what you’ve experienced with Poker Sleuth, the full edition is available for $27.99, making it one of the more inexpensive hand history tracking utilities available for purchase.
There are also a couple of web tools available on Poker Sleuth's site. One is a hand converter, which will convert hand history text from online poker sites into a readable format for posting on poker forums. This uses the same technology found within the Poker Notes section of the software. There is also Poker Sleuth's Bluff Calculator, which calculates how frequent you should bluff given the size of the pot.
Poker Sleuth boasts an official support forum and a bug tracker. There is also a direct e-mail link to the support staff if you have any issues with the software. If you are curious about a small hand history tracking program, then the free trial of Poker Sleuth just might be worth a look.
