Holdem Manager Introduces InstaScan for Table Scanner

In recent months, Holdem Manager has expanded its utilities to include items such as Leak Finder and Holdem Vision.  Recently, the team at Holdem Manager introduced InstaScan for the Table Scanner add-on.  This announcement comes on the heels of another exciting development for Holdem Manager users.  Popular training software SNG Wizard recently announced that it is joining the suite of “HM APPS,” making the program available inside of Holdem Manager.  The integration of SNG Wizard means a streamlined integration with the stats and results reporting of Holdem Manager.

The new InstaScan feature is a powerful addition to Table Scanner, which allows users to receive immediate results of their table scans when looking for juicy cash games to sit in.  InstaScan uses remote Holdem Manager servers to gather data instead of going through a poker client one table at a time.  Users can expect a serious increase in performance that will be many times faster than using the old scanner.  The folks at Holdem Manager say that they measured increases up to 7,000%, but performance boosts will depend on a person’s internet connection.

Players should note that all old Table Scanners will continue to work and Client-Side scanning is still supported for all Table Scanner licenses.  All Holdem Manager products, including the new InstaScan feature, are compliant with poker site terms and conditions.  InstaScan requires a monthly subscription to access, while the local Table Scanner, which goes through your local client, is a one-time flat fee.  For one month of InstaScan, the cost is $9.99, with a six-month license discounted down to $49.99.  To get a full year of InstaScan access, the cost is $74.99, which saves users $44.89 over the course of one year as opposed to the monthly price.  All monthly subscriptions to InstaScan must be paid by credit card and can be cancelled at any time through your account page.

The Table Scanner lets you swiftly find tables that give you the biggest advantage by scanning and then compiling reports based off of your hand database.  This way, the software does a scientific table selection process based on cold hard facts rather than pure speculation.  You can sort user-defined table scores across multiple sites and instantly know when to leave a table based on the Scanner Score.  There’s even an integrated Multi-Table Heads-Up Display (HUD) stat that shows how many tables a villain is currently playing.  There are single click join and open buttons to get to tables and the software supports Omaha and Hold’em.  You can set Table Scanner to run in the background automatically while using other Holdem Manager features.
