PokerTableRatings is one of the most popular poker information sites on the Web after bursting onto the scene last year. The site captures results from cash games on the major online poker sites and makes the data available to members. Some of the more popular tools on PokerTableRatings include the player search, table finder, buddy list, top winners, top losers, and widgets. Recently, PokerTableRatings unveiled a major upgrade of its hand replayer, which has plenty of new features to help players relive sessions.
To replay a hand, type the appropriate screen name into the player search box and hit the enter button. Their player profile page will come up and you can click on the plus signs to expand their sessions. If you see a session and hit the plus sign, you can view all tables played at during it. Clicking on a plus sign once more will display individual hands. From there, you can load hands in the replayer.
The hand replayer at PokerTableRatings has received a massive makeover and is easily the slickest free replayer featured on any site. On the left column is “Hands,” which shows all of the hands loaded in the replayer. In the middle is a large graphical area where players and their stacks are shown. Here, you will see chips stacks, bet amounts, cards, and the dealer button. Just below the table are the replayer’s controls for rewind, play/pause, fast-forward, and speed control:
On the far right, you will see boxes that provide key data about the hand. The first box is called “Hand Info” and displays the hand number, date and time played, type (cash or tournament), game played, table name with details, stakes (in blinds), and what seat number had the button. The next box down has “Table Info,” which shows the players at at the table along with the amount of money they had when the hand was dealt. The boxes below that are broken out by individual street action.
When you load an entire table or session, the box below takes on much more value than it has with just one hand. To load an entire session, go to the "Session" tab for a player you wish to see. You will now see a “Play” button. When you press it, PokerTableRatings will load the entire session’s hands into the replayer.
Users are encouraged to be patient with the replayer if there are a significant number of hands that are being loaded. Once you have your session loaded, you will see each hand appear within the “Hands” column. Each has a color code, hand number, name of the player who won, and pot amount. Clicking on a hand moves the replayer to that specific hand. The area below will display a helpful bar graph with each pot’s size in big blinds. Hovering over each bar in the graph reveals a pop-up box that gives you specific data on the hand. Clicking on the bar loads that hand into the replayer. You can also click on the tabs within this area of the replayer to filter hands that a specific player won, lost, or played.
PokerTableRatings reports results from PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, CEREUS Network, iPoker Network, Bodog, and PartyPoker. It provides the reporting tools and replayer free to all registered users. Visit PokerTableRatings for more information.
