A new website has come on the scene offering poker strategy and the opportunity to buy custom-built stats that can be imported into PokerTracker 3. The site is called CrushTheGame and has most of its content available for free. The only part of the site that requires payment is access to the custom stat reports that the owner of the site built. These stats can only be imported into PokerTracker 3.
The owner of the site posted an introduction in the CrushTheGame Strategy Archive in which he states that the goal is to teach as many people as possible who want to learn how to crush the game of poker. He also says that he is affiliated with Full Tilt Poker and will feature the advice from the site’s pro team from time to time. He claims to have taught several people how to play winning Limit and No Limit Texas Hold’em and that all of his students are females. The site owner claims to be a professional poker player, but he (or she) continues to learn on an ongoing basis.
The strategy archive covers topics including relative and absolute position, bankroll management, effective win rates, chamber philosophies, online versus live poker, and opponent models. Further topics include how to exploit high 3bets with a 4bet bluff, poker shortcuts, instructional low-limit cash game videos, and custom statistics for PokerTracker 3. The lessons continue with live session videos, why players play a LAG style, effective value, what an advanced PokerTracker 3 Heads-Up Display (HUD) looks like, and using stats to crush the 3betting game.
There is a forum at the site, but it doesn’t look extremely populated. However, topics seem to be answered in a very short amount of time. Access to the CrushTheGame forums is completely free; they feature threads for general talk, technical issues, player ratings, advanced HUDs, and assistance for importing stats.
The most interesting section for stat geeks is the downloadable custom stats for PokerTracker 3. The Post-Flop Exact Read Statistics are $15, which includes four main stats, 12 pop-up stats, and seven free stats for the custom HUD. It also includes two stats for the auto-rate, one PokerTracker 3 HUD configuration, and one custom auto-rate configuration. The Pre-Flop Hand Ranges Statistics are $30, which includes 112 main stats, two bonus stats, seven free stats for the custom HUD, and one PokerTracker 3 HUD configuration. Both sets of statistics are available for $45 and include a copy of Poker Shortcuts, which is a multi-table helper and hotkey program.
All of the custom stats are for No Limit cash games only. The release of Poker Shortcuts is a beta and may or may not have complete functionality. It’s noted that PokerTracker 3 cannot import one HUD configuration into another, but there are ways to combine HUDs. The site owner has included a link to show how it could be done.
The stat packages are available via Full Tilt Poker funds transfer, PokerStars funds transfer, and credit card payment.
