One of our favorite products, Holdem Manager, is a highly-ranked tool by our community and also part of our Recommended Software program. As part of the extras that come along with Holdem Manager, the “HM APPS” section provides added value to the program.
Some of the popular apps include Table Ninja (for PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker) and Table Scanner (which helps you find the juiciest tables at any site). Another one of the most popular applications is Leak Buster, which analyzes your stats and reveals leaks in your game. The latest add-on for Holdem Manager was released in recent days, Leak Buster Limit, a stat analyzing tool for Limit Hold’em players.
The program comes with a 15-day free trial so players can immediately check it out with no cost to themselves. Leak Buster Limit’s programmers tout that the software will find between six and 16 significant poker leaks on average. Also within the program are video tutorials on how to correct your leaks, which students of the game often find more helpful than mundane text. There are 50 filters included along with the 50+ videos on leaks. The unique scoring algorithm is said to isolate your most costly leaks quickly. Finally, the program comes with Heads-Up Display (HUD) setups for six-max and full ring play and there’s a module on exploiting your opponents.
The videos that come with Leak Buster Limit were made by some of the best Limit Hold’em players in the world, including Bryce Paradis, who was a highly-respected instructor at StoxPoker. Paradis gave the program high marks by saying that Leak Buster Limit is “an excellent tool for new and intermediate poker players to take their game to the next level.” Others have pointed to Leak Buster Limit as an invaluable tool to analyze your game and immediately spot leaks before they become problematic, or worse, cause a significant drain on your bankroll.
Currently, Leak Buster Limit Pro is $79.99, but smaller-stakes players can purchase the Leak Buster Limit Standard edition for $49.99. This will allow them to play games at stakes of $0.50-$1 and below while they improve their game. Once they are ready for the richer games, they can purchase a $30 upgrade that will change their Standard edition to the Pro edition.
For those players looking to get both the Limit and No Limit Leak Buster programs, there are two editions available: the Standard edition, which is $69.98, and the Pro Edition, which is $114.98.
