This past month has seen a smorgasbord of videos hit Tournament Poker Edge. One of the first to be released was the kickoff video in a multi-part series from “ttwist” showing him winning the PokerStars Sunday Second Chance. He walks through hand histories and demonstrates what it takes to ship a Sunday Major. Another popular video came from “Wein” and was a multi-part continuation of his deep run in the USA COOP Main Event.
For those of you who enjoy theory videos, “Cougars4444” released one that walks viewers through the basics of Step tournaments. These satellite tournaments can be huge bankroll builders and also ways to qualify for bigger buy-in events. A few days after that video was released, “HITTHEPANDA” released a $200 Rebuy video. Then, “bigdogpckt5s” released the first part of a series called “Live Sweat – Wednesday Night Session,” where the big name pro takes on the big Wednesday tournaments.
Another classroom video was released on January 20th entitled “TPE Theory: Shortstack Bootcamp,” which was produced by “Hagbard Celine.” In this video, he discusses the mathematics behind multi-table tournaments and goes through key considerations when playing a short-stack.
Just a few days later, “Wein” and “Cougars4444” released two amazing videos. The first was a hand history review from Tournament Poker Edge member “Peanut172,” who won an $8 Rebuy, and the second video was about Step satellites.
The videos at Tournament Poker Edge are quite diverse and many have high marks as voted on from users. If you want to get to a specific video type, there are filters to let you choose your favorite pro, stakes, content type, and concepts.
