Master Poker Calculations with Pocket SNG

The program is currently available for mobile phones and comes at a price of $16 for the full version or you can try out the limited version for free with no obligation. Some of the advantages of Pocket SNG are that its uses a very small amount of your mobile phone battery, provides lightning quick calculations, has in-depth Independent Chip Modeling abilities, incorporates an intelligent tests generator, and has a multitude of statistical functions.

There are some initial kinks that need to be worked out with the program, including incorrect language use. Currently, Windows is the only operating system supported and Pocket SNG can only be used on mobile phones with a touch screen. More importantly, there are some issues with button-pushing calculations that need to be worked out in future updates. The recommended screen resolution for Pocket SNG is 240x320 or 480x640.

In a recent interview with Zilka, he noted that a PC version of Pocket SNG would be released soon. He told PokerSoftware that he wasn't initially considering making a PC version because of programs like SNG Wizard and others that already have a solid grip on the sit and go market. However, he now feels that Pocket SNG has so many unique features that it will be able to hold its own against any and all competitors.

He cites the very affordable price of $16, very fast calculations, use of bubble factors, a quiz section, and a CLT predictor as to why Pocket SNG will be able to compete with other programs dedicated to helping sit and go players improve their bottom line.

According to Zilka, he's not aiming for Pocket SNG to be the most precise calculator on the market, but rather the most effective learning tool.

He also plans on creating a Google Android version soon after the PC version is completed, but adds that it likely won't be available until 2012. An iPhone version could also be in the works, but that will depend on the number of sold licenses up to that point.

Pocket SNG offers a number of features for sit and go players. The application is primarily dedicated to assisting players who participate in single-table nine- to ten-handed sit and gos that have a 50%-30%-20% payout structure. The purchase of a license of Pocket SNG will give you the right to use it on one mobile device.

Having a software application available for advanced calculations is a must for aspiring sit and go players. Applications with the ability to calculate ICM factors are important study tools and can increase an online poker player's bottom line significantly, especially during bubble play and once the player has reached the money.
