If you've ever wanted to be rewarded for your participation in an online forum, then you'll be happy to know that Poker Zion has come up with a Cash for Posts program that allows any poster to accrue credits for participation.
PokerZion is known for its top-level poker training and now you can earn valuable points to use for the purchase of exclusive products in the PokerZion store. Effective immediately, any person who registers on the forums at PokerZion will immediately be credited with $5 in PZ Cash that can go toward the purchase of poker books, poker training, or poker software. Each post a player makes in the forums (regardless of which forum the post is made in) is worth $0.07, plus there is a $0.001 bonus per word, meaning longer posts will result in more PZ cash.
The PokerZion dollar amount is conveniently displayed below each member’s screen name and the credits can be used at any time to purchase the products in the PokerZion store. All purchases can be made with forum credits, PayPal, or a combination of both payment methods.

Like everyone else said, start low (really low) and work your way up. Play the mtluitable tournaments and Sit-n-gos on Full Tilt to improve your game. Read books (ie Harrington on Holdem, Full Tilt's Strategy guide, Phil Gordon's books). Don't play like you see on TV- especially like the guys on ESPN and the Travel Channel (WPT). Those are either highlight reels (ESPN) or a turbo crap shoot (WPT) where the blinds go up so high that you have to push in with Q8, K9, etc. One of the best ways to learn the game is to watch High Stakes Poker, the live broadcast of the WSOP Main Event (pay per view event), other live tournament coverage, etc. The PPT was also really good when it was on.References : Was this answer helpful?

QuotesChimp amounts to 12 percent of the disposable income in the United States. By comparison, people pay more for insurance (direct and indirect) than they do for federal income taxes, not counting Social Security.
