If you haven't checked it out, PokerTracker 3 has released its latest beta version, 3.11.6, which has a number of key changes centered around its use on the Cake Poker Network.
The screen names of opponents in the Cake Poker Network’s hand histories will no longer be masked, plus there are additional improvements that make using the PokerTracker software on Cake a much more complete process.
Each hand history is now individually tagged so the software can determine the number of seats at a table, which will in turn allow users to save seating preferences without the need to apply the "Adjust Qualifying Table Limits" option. The HUD support for the latest PokerTracker 3 Beta is in full compliance with the Cake Poker Network's Terms of Service.
Other key features for the new version include TableTracker support for the regional PartyPoker and PokerStars sites as well as all Cake and Microgaming Network skins. This will enable much more complete statistics for players who enjoy competing on these sites.
Also, Postgres installation is now automated when using Apple’s OS X Lion, plus there are various updates that support the most recent client alterations on a variety of online poker sites.
The backup and restore features along with dialog messages for Mac OS X users have been revamped and the issues related table-opening capabilities for PokerStars in TableTracker have been addressed. Postgres binary path detection has also been improved.
Yatahay and America's Cardroom have been added to the compatible sites for PokerTracker 3, and TableTracker now supports PartyPoker.fr, PartyPoker.it, PokerStars.fr, PokerStars.it, the Cake Poker Network, and the Microgaming Network.
Several issues have been fully fixed in the newest version of PokerTracker 3. Import issues for several sites have been fixed, including new seat tags that will take effect once the Merge Gaming Network client has been updated. EverestPoker.fr tables can now be imported, as can six-max tables on the Ongame Network.
The software has also been updated to support audit file formatting on PokerStars and the hole card import bug that arose for screen names that contained brackets has been fixed on PokerStars. On top of this, Betfair has been removed from the auto-import list and the problems related to importing iPoker Network hand histories have been resolved.
In the previous versions of PokerTracker, there were complications due to issues calculating free space and validating database parameters before restoring, but those have been addressed in this latest release.
For Mac users, the "Restore Complete" dialog has been adjusted to cooperate with the requirements for a manual restart of PokerTracker 3 and the PokerStars hand grabber will now be disabled when using OS X Lion because of an operating system conflict. Those playing on the Ongame Network will no longer have their mucked cards shown when an all-in pot goes to a showdown and the TableTracker option now has PokerStars table-opening capabilities.
Poker Tracker 3 is recognized as one of the premier programs available for poker players on the Net. The software is available for Texas Hold'em and Omaha players of all stakes, buy-in levels, and formats and it comes with a free, no-obligation trial. The TableTracker table selection tool is an exclusive program available only with PokerTracker 3 and can assist players in determining the most profitable tables across all poker sites and networks within a matter of seconds.
