CardRunners Adds Joao Barbosa

CardRunners, a poker training site that has earned a reputation as one of the world's leading resources for online poker instruction and discussion, has announced new online poker pros for the 2012 calendar year.

These pros will be active members of the site through their video content, blogs, and forum activity.

Joao Barbosa

Hailing from Portugal, Barbosa has wins in events held as part of the EPT’s stops in Deauville, San Remo, and Warsaw to go toward his lifetime winnings of $1.85 million. Stefan Haffner

Haffner goes by the online poker screen name "sh58" and has been competing at the tables since 2007. His educational background comes from the University of Sussex, where he studied music. Originally getting his start playing $3 buy-in sit and go tournaments, Haffner eventually moved on to MTTs and micro-stakes No Limit cash games.

Jonas Gjelstad

Gjelstad is known as "Liqqa" online, is only 20 years of age and hails from Norway. He got his online poker start by playing low-stakes sit and go tournaments in 2007 and then moved on to Heads-Up No Limit Hold’em cash games. He took up Heads-Up Pot Limit Omaha games and has played those exclusively over the past two years.
