Full Tilt Poker Adds Six-Max NLHE, PLO to Mobile App
If you have been playing Rush Poker on the
Full Tilt Poker app, we have great news for you. Full Tilt Poker has added
Six-Max No Limit Hold'em and
Six-Max Pot Limit Omaha to its app.
The Full Tilt Poker app was re-launched in February 2014 and has proven to be a perfect way for players to play Rush Poker and Adrenaline Rush Poker on supported iOS and Android devices. The original Rush Poker app was launched in 2010; however, it was temporarily unavailable after Black Friday occurred in the poker world.
Adding non-Rush Poker ring games is the most significant upgrade to the app since it was launched. For the first time, players can play at Full Tilt Poker No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha ring games at stakes ranging from
$0.01/$0.02 to $5/$10 from their mobile devices. Users who enjoy playing for fun instead of for money can vie for play money at stakes ranging from 1/2 to 250K/500K.
The play on the mobile app is as smooth, if not smoother, than the Rush Poker games that were already available. The main difference is that you are not switching tables constantly like you would be in Rush Poker.
While these changes are significant, the Full Tilt Poker app is very behind other major poker sites in terms of the games available. For example, players at
PokerStars can play just about anything from their mobile devices and
PartyPoker just upgraded its mobile app to include sit and gos.
In a time where the number of people playing poker online around the world is declining, the number of mobile poker players is growing.
Mobile poker also tends to attract more recreational players, which is a group just about every poker site and network wishes to attract. More serious players usually only play on a mobile device as a last resort since they do not have their
HUD and other poker-related software at their disposal like they would when playing from their laptop or desktop.
The main reason the current Full Tilt Poker mobile app does not include tournaments, sit and gos, and other games is that its developers prioritized re-launching a temporary app over investing significant time to make the app as perfect as possible and including as many types of games as possible. It is expected that the application continues to quickly develop since Full Tilt Poker's parent company, the Rational Group, understands the importance of having a dynamic mobile product since many of its sign-ups come through mobile customers.
