PokerTableStats: In-Game Odds Calculator, HUD, and Much More
If you are just starting to learn poker or need help with the mathematics behind the game, look no further than
PokerTableStats.
PokerTableStats is an in-game
poker odds calculator and
HUD. The software has a clear interface that provides you with all of the matHEMatics you need. It's a poker calculator connected to your game that includes a draw meter, hole card ranking, pot odds, hand strength meter, tournament calculator including Harrington's Effective M, and, most importantly, the odds of you or your opponent of winning the hand.
All of these stats instantly pop up while playing online, giving you a chance to not only learn as you go, but also be able to make the right decision. You may think you have a greater or lesser chance of winning a hand than the software actually tells you that you do.
The HUD is basic compared to some others out there, but this facet of the software is a great tool for beginners, providing all of the important stats on a variety of streets. The best part about the HUD is that it is stored in a cloud and does not take up system resources. This is something that many other HUDs do not currently provide.
For those of you who already use a poker tracking database such as
PokerTracker or
Holdem Manager, you will be pleased to know you can also still do your post-game analysis using these software tools.
The software runs very smoothly on
PokerStars and is one of the approved programs you can use while playing. We asked Artur Pietrzyk from PokerTableStats how the program became, and remains, PokerStars-compliant and he told us, "We had a very long conversation with PokerStars and it involved us completing a few questionnaires and software tests."
PokerTableStats recently changed a small part of the software based off a request from PokerStars. Pietrzyk reminded us that remaining compliant is an ongoing process: "We need to make changes in our software whenever requested that will allow it to remain compliant with the terms of service on their site."
Although the software right now works just on PokerStars, there are potentially plans to expand it to other sites. Pietrzyk told us, "PokerTableStats has plans to expand to a variety of sites all at once. We don't have any release dates for this expansion at this point in time."
PokerTableStats offers a variety of affordable price plans that will only set you back $5.99 to $7.99. The Professional plan comes with a five-day free trial so you can see for yourself if this software will help you take your game to the next level before committing to a purchase. Why not
