Online poker players love PokerTableStats for its simple design and powerful software.  The software provides a HUD and in-game poker odds calculator right on your PokerStars table, giving you your odds and outs along with other helpful information through its Draw Meter.

PokerTableStats recently started to email a poker software-related newsletter to its customers, with its first installment designed to teach players more about the Draw Meter.

For those of you who are not familiar with the Draw Meter, it displays all of the hands that could give you a high probability of outdrawing your opponents in a particular hand.  The meter also graphically presents your probability of winding up with one of those hands on further streets.

The Draw Meter on PokerTableStats is calculated starting with the number of cards that would be helpful to you on the turn or river.  For example, if you have six outs to improve your hand, the odds would be 12.6% that you would improve on the turn, or 2.1% for each card.

Your odds of improving on the river are 2.2% per card, or 4.4% for the turn and river combined.  The software calculates this data for you and presents it in the odds bar.

PokerTableStats recommends using the Draw Meter when the action in front of you is hot and heavy.  However, if you see no chance or a small likelihood of improving your hand, this is a good time to fold instead of praying to the poker gods to go against the odds.

Likewise in this scenario, even if you haven't made a hand yet, if your Draw Meter is showing excellent odds of improving your hand on future streets, this would be an excellent time to re-raise your opponent or call and reevaluate on the river.

It is easy to see why this facet of the software is so useful and how much money customers may save or earn because they are paying attention to it.

PokerTableStats plans to issue a newsletter to teach its players more about the Hand Strength Meter, one of the many useful poker tools provided by the software.

You can see how much PokerTableStats can improve your game with its five-day free trial.  After the trial is over, you can choose among three different plans ranging from $5.99 to $7.99 per month.  Considering how much money you will be saving and earning on the tables thanks to the software's Draw Meter, it is no wonder why so many online poker players say they do not know what they would do without it.  Check it out.
