Many poker players and enthusiasts love poker podcasts not only because they can be informative, but also entertaining.  Some of the best poker podcasts to check out are on Tournament Poker Edge.

While Tournament Poker Edge is a paid subscription side, the podcasts are free to listen to.  We aren't just talking about free to listen to the first few minutes of it to get a taste and get drawn in to pay, but rather free for the entire podcast.

Tournament Poker Edge features a few categories it releases podcasts for including Strategy, TPE Live, The Chip Herm Show, and Midstakes Living.

Midstakes Living is one of the more popular and entertaining podcasts since it features the life and times of poker players and touches on other topics as well.  Tournament Poker Edge co-founder Derek "Killingbird" Tenbusch and instructor Matthew "theginger45" Hunt are the hosts of each episode in this series.

This past month has been more special than usual for Midstakes Living because not one, not two, but three podcasts were released.

The most recent Midstakes Living podcast guest was poker coach and player Michael "Gags30" Gagliano.  Gagliano is a well-known online poker player with almost $2.6 million in career tournament cashes according to PocketFives.com.  He is even better known in his home state of New Jersey, which is one of three states in the US that regulate online poker.

Gagliano is active in the New Jersey community and is also a pro on one of the New Jersey online poker rooms, BorgataPoker.com.  As you might expect, he spends some time discussing his views of regulated online poker in his home state.  He also talks about his history in poker and his poker coaching.

Before Gagliano, Tournament Poker Edge released a Midstakes Living podcast featuring Arsh "BigggTymeR" Grover.  Grover is currently the fourth highest ranked online poker tournament player in his home country of India, so it makes sense that part of this podcast focused on his views on the poker boom that is currently taking place there.

What's interesting about Grover is that he actually started playing poker at the young age of 11 years old.  He not only talks about that, but also spends some time discussing his current poker-to-life balance, something many poker players struggle with.

British poker player Max Silver was the guest on the Midstakes Living Podcast prior to Grover.  Silver is well-known around the world, but maybe more so in Europe and his home country of England.  The poker pro has almost $2.4 million in live tournaments according to the Hendon Mob and has succeeded at some of the highest stakes around including snagging a win in the $25,000 Aria High Roller XIII for a huge haul of $432,960.

Silver not only talks about what it's like to play in high roller events, but also the current state of online poker.  Additionally, he spends time talking about his new poker software app called SnapShove, which is a great tool for tournament players when they are short-stacked.

Check out these three podcasts on Tournament Poker Edge and maybe even some of the older ones.  They are great to listen whether you are at home or on the go.  Once again, they are all free to listen to, so you can sit back and enjoy without it pinching your wallet.
