We bet you want to get better at poker. There are many ways to do this, and studying your game is probably the most important. One great way to study is by checking out a poker training site where you can learn from the best.

Thousands of poker players have improved their games by checking out what the best of the best have to say at Ivey League. The poker training site was founded by 10-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Phil Ivey, and they have selected an impressive group of instructors to help you get your game to the next level.

While this year is still young, so far in January there have been many great videos released that should help improve your game. Regardless of whether you like tournaments or cash games, Texas Hold’em or other forms of poker, or simply want to get your mental game stronger, Ivey League has it all.

The site has extensive filters to help you find what you are looking for. You can choose by Coach, Game, Format, Stakes and Type. Additionally if you don’t have the top tier subscription, you can filter the videos for the subscription you do have at the site.

Personally, I began my poker journey playing mixed games. There aren’t too many resources for me to brush up on my mixed game after spending years playing No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. At times I feel that mixed games have passed me by.

Thankfully Ivey League is one of the only resources with an extensive library on mixed games. In fact, when using the filter, you will notice that there are over 40 different videos on this type of poker alone.

My game has improved thanks to watching the many videos by Phil Ivey, Phil “Jackal69”Shaw, “Apothesis”, Mike “GoLeafsGoEh” Leah, and Patrick “FinddaGrind” Antonius.

Shaw has especially helped me out as I can relate to him the best, but you might find the videos by the others more helpful.

Speaking of Shaw, he just released the fifth part of a video series titled “$75 HORSE MTT”. In this video he focused solely on Razz and Stud hands. While I feel I have these games down to some degree, I haven’t been super comfortable playing them during tournaments, so it was a learning experience to say the least. I also enjoyed the other four installments of this video serious which included a look at the other games in HORSE as well.

Mixed game instruction is just one small aspect of Ivey League. Obviously most of the videos focus on No Limit Hold’em. So if this is your game of choice, you should have plenty to choose from to help you learn.

Plans at Ivey League start off at just $9 per month. This is perhaps the biggest bargain without it being for free. Why not check out Ivey League today and see what you are missing out on.
